B.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology (BMIET) was founded in 1999 by Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust. The institute has been granted AICTE approval and it is affiliated with DCRUST, Murthal. The institute ratifies entrance exams namely JEE MAIN. B.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology campus is located in Sonepat town’s outskirt area. The institute is one of the leading engineering institutes in Haryana and Delhi NCR which is spread across 11.13 acres of the lush green environment to offer a peaceful environment to students for their academic development.

B.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology courses includes specialisation in Engineering and management courses. The courses at BMIET include B.Tech and BBA & BCA. There are several specialisations under the B.Tech course namely computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence machine learning. and Data Science The authorities conduct the BMIET  B.Tech admission based on JEE Main rank/percentage in class 12. . On the other hand, the BBA & BCA admissions are based on CUET/Class 12 percentage of the students. 

The authorities have specified the B.M Institute of Engineering and Technology fee structure for B.Tech and BBA and BCA courses on the official website. The B.Tech and BBA/BCA fee at BMIET Sonepat is Rs 1,35,000 to Rs 1,20,000 and Rs 74,900  respectively. The first-year fee is inclusive of the annual fee, university fee, alumni fund and security fee. The hostel charges of Rs 55,000 per semester is optional.

The college features a spacious duplex Canteen Block with reasonable prices for food and vegetarian snacks, as well as Soft Drinks and South Indian specialities. 

Hostel rooms are available in triple and single occupancy, and hostel costs are payable per semester. Both the girls' and boys' hostels are on campus.
